Adult Christian Education Classes
New Member Classes

Childcare & Learning Center
Adult Classes are held every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Classes
are periodically held at the church through the week. Classes are also held in
members' homes. Everyone is welcome to classes held at the church. Good manners
dictate
that you ask before coming to a members' home for class...especially since these
classes can fill up to capacity fairly quickly.
Adult classes can be "Bible" classes, based on a book or portion of the Scriptures...or
topical classes, based on a topic that is of interest to the group. See also

New Member Classes are held either on Sunday mornings, during
the adult class and Sunday school hour, or on a weekday evening. HTLC has always
been a church on the grow and classes are held often. If you are interested in
what makes Lutherans "tick" (what we believe), come to the next class. Please
contact the pastor to learn when and where the next class will be held. See "Contact

Sunday School is held almost every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. The
schedule is sometimes changed during the summer months or when a congregationwide
fellowship is scheduled right after the worship service.
God's
Word says, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he
will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Children enjoy a safe and happy environment
where they learn about the Jesus and how to live as Christians. The children
are often encouraged to make crafts, sing songs and participate in many activities
for their individual age groups. (Back to top)
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is another wonderful activity for
children from the entire community. As mentioned above, with the exception of
in-home adult classes, all Christian education opportunities at HTLC are available
to everyone, regardless of church affiliation. VBS is the prime example of this
since some vacation schools in the past have had more visitors attending than
members! Kids love it! VBS is held each summer and may be held in the morning
or evening, so watch for the announcements. Each day the children attend, they
do many fun and exciting things while also learning from the Word of God. (Back to top)
The Childcare & Learning Center is both a mission and a
ministry. HTLC provides quality care and education five days a week for children
in
our
area.
The facility has been described by a representative from the State of Missouri
as "One of the best in the whole State." The staff is dedicated, experienced
