HTLC Child Care and Learning Center

Holy Trinity Child Care and Learning Center is a ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. We believe each child is a unique creation of God with an individual pattern of growth, which will affect his/her development. Each child progresses through predictable, orderly stages of growth, though not at the same rate as another child. At each stage of development, the child has distinct needs to be met and skills to be mastered. Within the time frame of our programs, we try to meet the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of the young child and to encourage the child’s mastery of skills at each stage of growth. Most importantly, we help the child develop a positive self-image by consistently meeting the child’s needs for affection, warmth and support in his or her early learning efforts.

We provide well-planned, age-appropriate programs in a safe, clean, Christ- Centered, loving environment. Our curriculum includes developmentally appropriate learning center, arts and crafts, science and math, prayer, fine and gross motor activities, field trips and special visitors. The "High Reach Learning” curriculum is used in our nurseries. Our preschool and pre-kindergarten use a “Theme Based” curriculum.

We provide a full-time and part-time program. Children ages two through five years may attend two, three, four or five days a week. Babies and toddlers ages six weeks through 24 months may enroll for full time only (five days). Our hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We also provide a program for before and after school care. The bus picks up students around 7:30 a.m. each morning and will return your child to the Center around 3:15 p.m. We have a summer camp for children ages six through 12 years. The camp operates June through August and provides age-appropriate activities, special visitors and field trips. We have the use of a 7000 sq. foot Christian Life Center.

We are a license-exempt, state approved facility that goes beyond just meeting requirements so that our children are safe loved and nurtured. We have been in operation more than 17 years. The Center is conveniently located right next to Hwy 44 on the South Outer service road. Please call for an appointment and visit us for a tour.
