Fourteenth Annual Green Auction 2006

The 2006 Green Auction featured a ride in the basket of a hot air balloon! It was just one of several "hot" items that helped the event to bring in enough money to pay off the mortgage on the Christian Life Center! Praise God with us for we know that all the glory goes to Him!

In addition to thanking God for this successful achievement, the congregation particularly thanks Russ and Amy Jackson for their hard work in spearheading this year's auction. They are shown above smiling on the night of the event. Those smiles probably mean they are thrilled that that hard work is about to be over for another year!

In the first picture below, it looks like many people are seated and ready to eat. But look how many are still in the back bidding on their favorite "silent auction" items.

The Fourteenth Annual Green Auction was held in memory of Judy Reed. With her husband, Curly, Judy was a perennial leader and hard worker for the congregation, community and many charities. In 2002, the members of the congregation overwhelmingly recognized her with the Cornerstone Award here at church and that same year the City of St. CLair recognized her as Citizen of the Year.
