The First Sunday in
Advent
The English word "Advent" is based on a Latin word that means "come"
or "coming." We remember Jesus Christ's first coming to earth as a baby
in Bethlehem and we anticipate His coming again at the end of time.
For us at Holy Trinity, the day began with worship
in a festively decorated sanctuary.
